
Truma wants you to have the best experience using the Truma Combi CP Plus so we’ve come up with some tips so you don’t feel overwhelmed.
The first step to getting the best out of your Truma Combi is to understand the CP Plus. To wake up the CP Plus, press the round toggle switch and you will see it begin to initialize. There are icons at the top of the screen that will allow you to set room temperature, water temperature, fan speed and whether you would like to use gas, electric or a combination of both.
Setting your Combi’s water temperature set point
To set the water temperature set point, turn the toggle switch until the water/thermometer icon begins to blink and press to select the image. You will then have the opportunity to set your water temperature to different set points.
OFF
ECO mode which is 104° F or 40° C
HOT mode which is 140° F or 60° C
Boost mode which is the set point you want if you are going to shower. Boost mode increases the water set point to 144° F or 62° C and turns off the furnace fan.
Setting your Combi’s water temperature set point
To select the furnace temperature set point, turn the toggle switch until the motorhome/thermometer icon begins to blink and select the icon. You will then have the opportunity to set your furnace temperature from OFF to 40° F or 5° C, up to 86° F or 30° C. Once you have your desired temperature on the screen, press the toggle switch to make sure the CP Plus recognizes the desired set point for the furnace.
Setting your Combi’s fuel source
To set your fuel source, toggle over to the fuel source icon (gas tank/lighting icon) and press select. All Truma Combi’s are equipped with a gas/propane function. If you have a Combi eco plus model or Combi comfort plus model you also have the option to use MIX 1 mode or MIX 2 mode which utilize both gas and electric. You also have the option to use two Electric modes: EL 1 which uses 850 watts or EL 2 which uses 1700 watts. Once you’ve made your selection, press the toggle switch.
Using your Truma Combi in Mixed mode
The Combi eco plus and Combi comfort plus models allow you to heat your furnace and hot water using both heating and propane in MIX mode. If there is an error on the propane side, the electric mode will take over will take over to compensate. If there is an error on the electric side, the propane will take over to compensate.
To gain access to MIX mode, turn the toggle switch and select the fuel source icon and then press select. Press select again to gain access to MIX 1 mode which uses both gas and electric at 850 watts. MIX 2 mode uses both gas and electric at 1700 watts.
