Truma is thrilled to congratulate Jonathan Ellis, Truma OEM Account Manager, on his inclusion in RV Pro’s “40 Under 40” class of 2022. The annual “40 under 40” event recognizes the best and brightest of the RV industry, as nominated by their peers and colleagues.
Jonathan Ellis was among the first employees hired seven years ago when Truma expanded to North America. Ellis has seen the company grow from less than a dozen employees in a converted house on Jackson Boulevard to the multi-million dollar supplier it is today.
“I have been blessed to be part of Truma and the success we’ve had in making the name synonymous with quality, reliability, and performance for the North American RV market,” said Ellis. “We have a great team, and I’ve enjoyed developing close partnerships with RV manufacturers who want a simply better experience for their customers.”
An Elkhart native, Ellis was aware of the RV industry long before he joined it professionally. Growing up in the RV manufacturing capital allowed him to see how RVing offers families and friends a different way to experience the outdoors and spend time together. From the very beginning of his time with the company, Ellis recognized that Truma had something special to offer this industry with its water, heating, and cooling systems. It is that strong belief in his product line and his passion for the industry that have led Ellis to form close, trusted partnerships with OEMs like Forest River and Winnebago.
Ellis’ teammates say his example has been instrumental in solidifying Truma’s “Simply Better” reputation among customers and the industry.
“Jonathan is truly invested in the projects and the success of his OEM manufacturing partners,” said fellow OEM Account Manager, Bob Yessa. “He offers support through product training, the transfer of information throughout their organizations, and even gets his hands dirty with product installations if needed.”
